Il gentile Matt Scott mi ha prontamente risposto
Hi Signor XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Many thanks for your email, and your kind words about my article. In
answer to your questions:
1) If there are two teams with the same owners, it is the team that is
in the Champions League that is allowed to continue to compete; the
club in the Europa League cannot be permitted to compete in that
competition.
2) That is a reasonable assumption; but it is only an assumption. The
very point of my article was that no one knows who are the
stakeholders of FSG, since their identities have never been made
public. And despite asking several people yesterday, no one seemed
prepared to tell me either.
3) I did know about Unicredit owning Roma. However, this is not
something I am able to comment on. I have not followed Roma's fortunes
on the pitch and therefore could not provide an opinion about the
coincidences you raise.
Best regards,
Matt Scott
