West Ham are locked in a battle with Werder Bremen and Lazio to sign Swedish star Rasmus Elm.

The 23-year-old has been earning rave reviews in Holland for AZ Alkmaar and is ready to show he can compete at the highest level.

Hammers boss Avram Grant is hoping to strengthen his squad during the summer and reports in Holland suggest they are the strong favourites to clinch his signature.

The east London side face a fight to secure his services, however, as Werder Bremen and Lazio have also been monitoring his progress and are preparing to make bids at the end of the season.

AZ Alkmaar will be looking for at least £2m for their star midfielder and, if West Ham manage to stay in the Premier League, they will fancy their chances of taking the Swedish midfielder to Upton Park during the summer.

Cercare un altro portiere quando hai carrizo è folle secondo me. A meno di non venderlo a tanti danari e comprarne uno forte a pochi.
