We don't know when we could made it to olimpico but this would be a good opportunity as lazio's fans to meet the Lazio players. So I was really excited and tell our friends about this opportunity, Then we held a meeting to welcoming Uruguay team at the Soekarno hatta airport. Luckily, nando muslera and alvaro Gonzales were elected by Tabarez to join with the national team and visiting Indonesia.
So this what we do, we prepared the welcoming party almost 2 weeks before their coming. Me and Mr. Ali were directly contact ermetico for more information about their flight and ermetico gave us a really good news that they absolutely will do the friendly match in Indonesia. Some of our friends preparing the welcoming banner, Lazio Indonesia's scarf as a welcoming gift and others thing according this event.
1st day.
I've got information from ermetico that nando and alvaro will departure on Monday from Rome and will arrive in Indonesia on Tuesday afternoon. The flight routes : Rome-Frankfurt-Hongkong-Jakarta. And at Tuesday there's only one flight from Hongkong to Indonesia which will be arrived at 13.02. So we were preparing the welcoming just 3 hours before the flight landing. There will be around 100 members Laziale Indonesia were preparing themselves to welcome nando and alvaro. We are feel so nervous and still unbelievable with this opportunity, but when the times comes and nando+alvaro finally appeared at the arrivals gate then we suddenly standing up and yelling, we do chant, we were really shocked and shaking that finally this is not our dream..this is a reality, nando and alvaro are really appeared in front of us. I can't tell u exactly what we feel..what an euphoria that we never feel before..then we do chant, yelling their name, and do everything such as : asking their sign, give them Lazio indonesia's scarf, take a pic and anything. We had to do so quickly and carefully because they were guarding by airport security and Indonesian army so we only had a little chance to do what we can do..
Maybe only 10 minutes we do the welcoming because they in haste to go to hotel by car that provided in front of the airport and they directly goes to hotel four seasons.
Some of our friends gets nando's sign and alvaro's sign on their own lazio's jersey, some can take their pic and many others were still surprised with this opportunity.
After that we headed to Hotel Four Seasons and thinking thay we maybe can meet them there. Unfortunately, the hotel's security were not allowed us to see with them, we are really disappointed with this thing. Meanwhile, we don't give up, we do yelling loudly their name just outside the hotel and hoping that they will appeared even just a minute to meet with us. After 2-3 hours do chant, finally nando and alvaro showed up from the window at 6th floor and waving their hands to us. We were so happy and after that we finally back home to give nando n alvaro for resting because they already spent hours at plane and we understand that they need a rest (so do we :p)
2nd day
Early morning some of us directly goes to Sumantri Training Ground, we gathered there because we know that Uruguay team will do ther training here. After waiting few hours then they showed up. Sadly, the training were restricted for public. But once again we don't give up! We climbs the walls only to watch their training and show them the banner so they can see us.
We were yelling their name, especially nando, then what happened is Luis Suarez looking us and tell nando about we were doing and finally nando saw us and waving his hands. Maybe for all of you nando's waving hands just an ordinary thing, yea its because every week you can see him at rome city, but for us it was really amazing and interesting.
After the training ground, they headed back to the hotel. Some of our friends heard that they will go shopping to Senayan City Mall. Then we go there but what was happen is the Uruguay team were pending their shopping because the hard rain in Jakarta and they choose to stay at the hotel.
3rd Day
Already 3 days but we still have no idea to close with them, as u know, the hotel's security guard are very close with them. Then I had an idea to get close with them. I just go to the hotel with formal dress and pretending as a reporter from online media. When the security asking about my purpose I just answered that I was representing from laziofever.com to attend the press conference that will be held at 2 PM and luckily they believe me! So I've got allowed to enter the hotel and waiting for them at the lobby. I ordered some coffe while waiting them. I invited my friend marlon and angie to come which is then angie will be my translator because she can speak latino. Firstly, I saw Lugano and greet him, my friend angie talks a lot with him which I don't understandly the language. Im asking about his chance to play in Lazio, then he said that he was really excited to Lazio but his agent still have no contact from Lazio. Lugano wants to be a team with nando n alvaro which is they always pushed lugano to join them. So let's keep our finger crossed that he will do a move to Lazio. We do some chat until he finally goes to dine room for eating. I told him to tell nando that we are here and wants to do some chat with nando. Lugano said that he will tell that at dine room with nando.
After waiting for minutes then nando showed up with cavani. They wants to go to Senayan City for shopping. I told nando that Im from ermetico's friend. Im really surprised with his appeareance, he is so tall and calmly. He wants us to come to Senayan City. So we follow their bus from behind to Senayan City.
At Senayan City I met with Alvaro Gonzales the friendly one, when I said Roma Merda he is laughing so loudly. I met also with suarez, tabarez,caceres and others. After the shopping they were heading to Gelora Bung Karno Stadium for do the training.
4th day
Finally the matchday arrives. More than hundred laziale were come to see the match Indonesia against Uruguay. We just hope to see Nando and Alvaro playing. We are sitting down at Curva Nord (behind the goalkeeper) Gelora Bung Karno and hopely when muslera play he will heard us yelling and chanting her name. But after we see the lineup formation we are so really disappointed because Tabarez make him as substitutes. Alvaro also didn't played from first half. At second half alvaro was playing, he was plot as playmaker and had a chance to score but he didn't make it. Finally the score is 7-1 for Uruguay, we don't care about the scoreline but we are really care for nando, maybe Tabarez has chosen not to play him because he knows that our country would not that tough to beat his team or maybe else reason. After the match and players leave the field nando had a chance to waving his hand to us.
Furtherly, we were waiting at outside the stadium and still yelling his name, after that he get to the bus, and the bus were across us and heading back to the hotel.
Then we were getting home and we hope nando and alvaro will tell the story to other lazio's players about laziale Indonesia and maybe someday we will wake up in the morning and heard that Lazio will do a friendly match with our national team. This would be our dream and we will always wait for that day.
